About Martina Jacobo
Martina Jacobo is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) at Dawn Institute, dedicated to the healing and growth of children, teenagers, and families. Built on a foundation of relational safety and child advocacy, Martina’s practice helps families navigate trauma and transition with both clinical skill and deep empathy.
Her clinical lens is uniquely informed by a personal understanding of the resilience within non-traditional family structures and foster care systems. This background allows her to show up for young clients as a grounded advocate, ensuring they feel seen and protected throughout their healing journey. As a mother, Martina also brings a practical, non-judgmental perspective to her work with caregivers. By integrating trauma-informed care with systemic therapy, she helps families understand the “why” behind behaviors, helping them break through cycles of distress to build a more connected, hopeful future.
