About Julia Mata
Julia is dedicated to helping children express themselves and heal through creative and therapeutic outlets. As an intern focusing in expressive art therapy, sand tray therapy, play therapy, and trauma play therapy. She focuses on fostering resilience and growth in young clients. Julia works with children to help process emotions and its impact on various aspects of a child’s life, including emotional regulation, self-worth, and family dynamics. With a person-centered approach rooted in trauma-informed care, she tailors her therapeutic techniques to each child's unique needs. Julia is particularly passionate about using creative modalities to help children navigate their emotions and experiences, promoting healthy emotional development and resilience.
