About Julia Amodt

Julia is passionate about creating a warm, safe, and inclusive space where children, teens, adults, and families feel heard, understood, and accepted. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and approaches each client with curiosity, empathy, and respect. Her trauma-informed, relational approach draws from emotionally focused, narrative, and play therapy to help clients understand and express their emotions, make meaning of difficult experiences, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others.

She is particularly interested in supporting children and families navigating trauma, grief, and life transitions, and values creative, developmentally appropriate approaches to help children communicate and process their experiences. She is also pursuing specialized training in sex therapy and has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and families.
