This event raises funds to support our foundation’s mission that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up free from the lasting impact of trauma.
You can expect a beautiful evening filled with fun drinks, small bites, live music, and an opportunity to learn more about the meaningful work DCF is doing to help children and families in our community to get the mental health care they need.

We educate grownups on how to identify early signs of trauma in children and emphasize the importance of seeking help early, even for small issues, before they grow into bigger challenges. Through classes and support groups, we equip children to understand and express their emotions, recognize unsafe situations, and seek help when needed, significantly reducing the risk of trauma and promoting their overall well-being.

There's significant room for improvement in how we treat children. We are dedicated to advancing therapy practices by developing new techniques and rigorously documenting outcomes. Our vision is to enhance the resources available to child trauma specialists, ensuring that every child receives the most effective care possible.
